Thanksgiving!

Today the dining hall prepared a feast of traditional and non-traditional Thanksgiving foods.

My first meatless, though not turkey-less, Thanksgiving. The most odd was having revolving sushi in Japan.

This was my 13th Thanksgiving overseas.

مطعم Hashem

Last night a bunch of us went to Hashem Restaurant, a local dive near the Roman Theater. This was the second time I've been, and the atmosphere was still awesome. The food is brought out at the same time: large pitas and bowls of fuul and hummus, accompanied by french fries, falafel, and mint tea.

"Overflowing into the alley, this near legendary restaurant is very popular with locals for quality falafel, chips, hummus, fuul, tea, and nothing else." - LP Middle East
